Black Sabbath who are they and what are they doing now. In the next few days or weeks, I will answer those questions. First I'd like to tell you my story of how I found my faith in the band. I was 15 at the time riding my bike in the winter then I saw a black circle sticking out of a snow bank. I picked it up it was Black Sabbath Master of Reality. I was amazed it still played. The music and words they spoke revolutionized my taste in music. I've been a Sabbath fan now for over 25 years.
Black Sabbath were none other than the great Ozzy Osbourne vocals, Tony Iommi guitar, Geezer Butler bass, Bill Ward drums. This was the original line up of the band. Most people I talk to say Black Sabbath is nothing without Ozzy. I disagree with those statements. Yes, Black Sabbath may have been at there prime with Ozzy and maybe their best music from his riegn. Black Sabbath continued after 1978 when Ozzy left the band I will give more detail later. You should check out Sabbaths albums after the Ozzy years. I think they are very good. I give Tony Iommi alot of credit for keeping the band alive for almost 40 years. If you ask me, I think Black Sabbath is the father of metal.
